PROGRAMS

Intensive Psychiatric Day Program (Day Program):

Five days per week, in-person, for adolescents and young adults ages 15-25.

IN PERSON

  • The Day Program is an intensive program designed to provide a large “dose” of DBT skills and therapy to help young adults get back on track.

The Day Program is ideal for adolescents and young adults who have recently been in the hospital, are struggling with multiple problems, or are having trouble at school or work due to mental health concerns.

While in the Day Program, clients take a short break from school or work to focus on their mental health and building the skills they need to succeed when they return to their everyday lives. Many clients take a short medical leave and return to school after completing the program, while some choose to take a full semester off.

  • The Day Program runs from 9am to 3pm five days per week. Typical enrollment is four to eight weeks, depending on client needs.

  • Clients enrolled in the Day Program receive:

Two individual therapy sessions per week

One family therapy session per week

One parent coaching session per week

    Weekly parent skills group

    Weekly medication management

Up to 24 skills classes and therapy groups per week

Daily support completing program homework and skills practice assignments

  • Stages 2-4 DBT outpatient services, focused on emotional experiencing, building a life worth living, addressing problems in living, and building capacity for sustained joy and fulfillment.

We offer select adjunctive services to support clients needing related treatment. For example, we offer DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE) for trauma, exposure with response prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD, and behavioral parenting interventions for parents of younger children (e.g., Parent Management Training (PMT) for behavior problems and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) for anxiety).

We’re all DBT, all the time. We do DBT because we love it and it works.
